Have you ever tried a bottomless brunch? If so, you’ll know how amazing they are already and, if not, you’re in for a real treat. Unlimited alcohol with your friends all backed up with the tastiest food options. It’s not quite breakfast, it’s not quite lunch but, it’s tonnes of fun.
Our Top Picks for Bottomless Brunch in Newport
We love Wales but, high on our list of must-visit places in Wales is Newport.
The foodie scene has exploded recently and there are now so many options for a bottomless brunch in Newport. As with all the articles in our “bottomless brunch” series, we’re being quite selective about what we include. We believe a bottomless brunch in Newport is about more than just the booze, we’re passionate foodies and wanted to make sure we favoured places killing it on the food and booze front.
Cosmo’s Cocktail Bar
The new kid on the block to the epic Friar’s Walk Shopping Centre, Cosmo’s is set to up the bottomless brunch game in Newport forever. There are some fantastic and mouthwatering menu options to choose from here (you get to choose 1 main meal as part of the bottomless brunch) including the four cheese ravioli, burgers and plant-based choices too. Cocktails galore at Cosmo’s range from the classics like Woo Woo’s, Sex on the Beach, and Amaretto Sours. There are also alcohol-free options so the designated driver doesn’t miss out on the fun. The best bit about Cosmo’s is you get a full 2 hours to enjoy your bottomless brunch!

The Garden Kitchen by Pugh’s
The booze and food are super important when it comes to a bottomless brunch, we get that. However, something often overlooked is the setting itself. We’re not a fan of cheap, tacky bars. We much prefer somewhere with a vibe and even a bit of class. The Garden Kitchen oozes class. A stylish place surrounded by a jungle of houseplants and tastefully botanical wallpaper. The food and drink are worth shouting about too. You get one main course from a lovely range including Shakshuka, burgers, and smashed avo and halloumi sourdough toast (oh hello). The drinks are pretty and there’s a range to cater for all tastes including Tiny Rebel beer (a firm favourite at TasteTo HQ). Booking in advance is essential here.

Las Iguanas
Everyone’s favourite, Las Iguanas is worthy of a spot on this list for their fantastic food options alone. When you book a bottomless brunch at this Newport venue, you are in for such a treat. They serve chillis, tacos, curries, fries and even avo toast. When it comes to drinks, we think Las Iguanas have a lot to offer from bubbles (pink and prosecco) to beers, cocktails and mocktails. We love their Coconut Sour Bomb featuring orange, lime, sugar, and soda. You get a solid 2 hours to enjoy your bottomless brunch and booking is advised.

Anything Missing?
We like to think this is a pretty well-manicured list, tailored to the foodie and representative of a range of venues. However, from time to time, we do miss an absolute gem of a place (we’re only human). If there’s somewhere missing that we must include on this list, do give us a shout.
